As we gear up for our final round of fund raising it is all the more real that this isn't just about an adoption, this is about God and His glory. This is about a little girl whose precious face we have seen, who we deeply love even though we haven't met her. God knew we would find our daughter on a waiting child list and He knew we would need to fund raise for the last bit. He's not surprised. This is His timing and His child. The reality is clear, we need $9,000 to finish out this adoption. We know that God owns it all and He already knows how He'll provide to bring Zahra home. We have complete faith in that. We also don't plan to just stand around and wait for the money to fall from the sky. Don't get me wrong if it did we'd be thrilled and we know that no matter how the funds come in it is all from the Lord. We pray daily that the Lord would provide in miraculous ways for us to bring this little girl into her forever family.
Do you feel called to help?
I work better with small goals within a bigger picture. The immediate need is about $3,000 for our first trip to Ethiopia to attend our court date. (no we don't have one yet but we anticipate hearing sometime next month) We have about 4-6 weeks before we'll buy tickets. So, we're selling shirts! If we sell 100 shirts we'll be close to covered. We've sold 5 in the last week. That's just 95 more to go! Check out our shirt shop link below.

Last but not least, if you want to donate directly to our adoption but would like a tax deduction you can do that through our church adoption fund or online through Lifesong. As long as it is received by December 31st it will count for this year.
